Dream a LITTLE Dream!

Is been a slow week of day dreaming.  Day dreaming about nothing.  The rain seems to calm things thing though.

I wish i could be more productive, but life just doesn't seem to flow that way, all smooth and swell.  But i know that everything in life happens for a good great reason.  You know just like whats happening in Haiti, things happen for a reason and lets just pray and hope the best for it.  And knowing and believing in God, I know that they are in a far way crazier fantastic place!

Soooo I shouldn't worry  about nothing nor complain about anything!  Seriously... even the homeless here have it better than a lot of people in any developing country.  I mean, i ask this question to many folks " Would you rather be homeless or be in Jail with a place to stay and a meal to eat and a fancy shower....hahaha?"  Well so far, all of them gave me the same answer ... freedom as a homeless!

One thing about worry and stuff... is just so unproductive!

Like some of my families and friends... they all have good intentions to be concern for me since i don't have a "real-job" and not making money with a monthly pay check  and i know their concern... that i might be depress or be worrying or just down and out.  But luckily i don't!  Funny though that my friends and families worry more than i do... and i'm the one in the situation.

The thing is, you can't let money and not having a pay check let you worry about life.  Is not like your not doing something about it, if your lazy and don't care that's when you have to  be slap in the face for a wake up call.. hahaha

But seriously...if you have a burning desire and believe in what you believe AND that is to say and still eating healthy food and surviving and still being positive about life (very important part)  , Don't ever let NO ONE take that away from you - Your Dreams.  Becos alot of people have given up their dreams once they reach a certain age and life becomes bitter when their dreams are gone.... so  DON'T Let MONEY get into your dreams!

Having a dream come true should not be about fame or fortune!!! Your dream can be something simple that your talented in and something you love to do and hopefully that can be use to help or to change society in a better way.  Not that I am doing it ...yet, but i do hope we all can use our God given talent for a loving good cause while we are still living.

I have a simple dream... is to make toys and have a shop to teach children about arts and craft and love...just to make enough to live though this life before going back HOME to papa!
Not comparing to Mr. Walt Disney, but he was bankrupt for like 3 times... but becos he didn't give up his dream, he is making a lot of people in this WORLD happy today!

sooooooo Do Not Worry
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life[a]?

28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matt 6:25-34

One quick story...

Yesterday i decided to do a quick walk to downtown Broadway down to 8th street... one thing that really brightens my heart and humble myself was that i saw this homeless man looking all dirty and beat up, but he had a big clean drawing pad and some nice white drawing papers and some brand new coloring pencils.  He had two finish drawings of families (portraits) and he was selling them.  Dude... here i am.... i  have a place to live and paints to paints and clays to make and full of ideas and all i'm doing is day dreaming annnnnd complaining ahhhhhh...

Soooo... I have been thinking about crying as in cry baby t-cups.

The problem with me is that i love the process of molding and sanding more than painting them.  Painting really really really takes a lot of patients.  I finally figure out that, I either have to put in front of a fan or heater to dry it completely before putting on another layer of paint on it.

BBQing it dry!

Well... haven't been eating out and since the electricity went out yesterday, I decided to walk down to Sam Woo (a Chinese restaurant in L.A. Chinatown on Broadway!).  It was a great idea for the stomach but a bad idea for my body since I got all drench by the mighty rain.

As i got back to my apartment, i was greet by our friendly neighborhood cat "Lady".

The woman who owns this cat, put a shirt on Lady and Lady kept on moewing at me (which she hardly do)... and i was wondering... as she walk up the step she almost fell!!! Cos she was not walking right with that shirt she was wearing...hahaha

Yikessss... Lady tumbles down one step!

And yes, i did help Lady to take that shirt off before she tumbles herself to death...

Peace & God Bless You!

Broken but content!

What a week of adjustment!  For some odd and weird reason, I thought about waking up at 6am but I set my alarm at 8am.  But I always end up waking up at 5am.  Since I can't go back to sleep, i just end up getting up.

It was hard at first... yawning through out the day and doing everything all slow-motion... so by 2pm i just want to a nap, which i end up doing anyways... hahaha

Well finally finish the Angle toy which i owe Jamie from Hawaii.  I really truly hope that she will like it.

It was hard  to make it the same as the original she order... since it was soooooo fragile, i had to make it more stable.   Once it gets out to the mailman anything could happen during the trip to Hawaii.  I pray hard that she is reach in one piece!

Also did a Yu letter which I gave to my friend Larry last Sunday.  And he loves it!  This one looks more like a tree house. hehehe

Been trying to figure out how to make all these figures more solid, so that it wouldn't fall apart so easily.  So I had to redesign some idea that i had, a bit irritated by it all.

Well... at least my appetite is back!!!

I realize that here in America, we can get a lot of food for just $40 bucks!  Like going to Food 4 Less, you can find some great values that can last you for at least a month.  What a life saver for a broke and poor dude like me, but that's what you get for praying to God that "I want to be content with life!".  And He answered me with a great valuable lesson to learn.

I mean, before when i was working in a 9-5 job with a healthy pay check, i was always complaining about how little i was getting pay.   And now hahaha... if i can even earn just $800 bucks a month, i be happy and i would be saving alot .

I mean before when i had money, i would  give  a little bit to homeless folks and after talking to some of them, they tell me they get at least $600 bucks from the government.  So that makes them more richer than moi hehehe...

So be content with what you have and enjoy every little good things that comes to you.

Peace and God Bless You!!!

Clean Up a Broken Toy

Finally did a massive clean up!  A neat and and spacious work space make things so much more easier and now i can concentrate on making one figure at a time.

Also, i realize that the best thing to do is to make a "To-do LIST".  And so far it helped!  I just need to do them, that is all... hahaha

My To-Do-List for the day (2 days):

1) finish Blessing Angel  (which i owe Jamie, it made to Hawaii but it was a rough rough ride!!!)

2) finish Chinese characters (which are gifts for those who supported me to India)...

3) finish the rest of the toys!!! (which is a whole pile and much more!)

I remember back in the days when I was still in high school, my Auntie Mei ask me what I want to do as a career.  I told her that i wanted to be an artist/filmmaker.  And she thought for a moment and said "you know how hungry and starving those artist and filmmakers are before they even make a cent?"  I smartly reply her and said "that's what being an artist is all about!  LIFE!"  hahahah

So today...  i am experiencing and enjoying this freedom call LIFE!  Its lunch time!

Messy! Messy! Messy!!! What a waste of time!

It's starting to get a little bit better as in waking up.

Today, I got up around 9:30am... I actually wanted to get up at 6am.   I mean ideally, i read and heard that those businessman who are  'successful" usually gets up at 5am.  I guess, it is a peaceful time for waking up and getting alot of things done like exercise, shower, and breakfast/checking e-mails.  Then when comes the actual work time, which should be in-between 8:30am - 9am.

Well today, I got up and laze around thinking... what do I really need to do first... and (lights blink) I got to hurry up and get Jamie's package ready to send to wonderful Honolulu (Once again... thank you Jamie!).

If you ever get a chance to visit Hawaii, Honolulu, check out Jamie's bead shop @

http://www.thebeadgallery.com/

Took the package to the post office and it was a long wait.  Anyways, i got home and ate some breakfast/brunch... (that's what happens if you waste time)... at this time it was like 12:15pm.  So much for New Year resolution... what i need is a New Year REVOLUTION or revelation, which ever comes first.

After spam, egg, and steam bun, it was time to work... sigh... 1pm.

Ahhhh.... then I remember, today is my mom's birthday and i need to finish her gift so i decided to do a rush job on her name/character Tseng.

http://ricebowllife.blogspot.com/2010/01/another-year-went-by.html

After finishing everything up, it was 6:30pm and time to meet everyone for dinner to celebrate my mom's birthday!

So now is 1 am in the morning...

I got to work on it!

Peaceout
and
God Bless You!

A slow start... (sighhhhhhhhhhhh)

Ahhhhhhh...... each year goes by so fast that today is already the 4th of January... of a brand new year.

Trying to get one figure done ain't no easy task.  I thought it would be easy, but  half of the time i am distracted by the internet (which should a no-no during work hours...), food, getting up late, etc.. And when your working at home, there is just almost no rules, cause you're your own boss.

Well... at least today... one toy or word or figure (how ever you want to look at it) is finish.

This is actually made for a friend as a gift.  It turn out quite well... it looked kind of like green onion (hahaha), but i was thinking more of "jade".

Well...the best thing about making gifts for friend is that new idea always pop up!

It is a Chinese character name... Gee.

A new start.

A new start might sound like i just did time in prison and finally free from being behind bars.

It does kind of feel that way at times when your mind is trap in its own-self.  All tie up in your own frustrations that could of been solve simply by  letting  go  of  one  self.

Its time to get back to work.
